The book entitled The Sense of an Ending which has been critically acclaimed around the globe is receiving a film treatment which is expected to be released in 2017. The book, written by Julian Barnes, is the 11th from it’s author. The overview is as follows…
This intense novel follows Tony Webster, a middle-aged man, as he contends with a past he never thought much about—until his closest childhood friends return with a vengeance: one of them from the grave, another maddeningly present. Tony thought he left this all behind as he built a life for himself, and his career has provided him with a secure retirement and an amicable relationship with his ex-wife and daughter, who now has a family of her own. But when he is presented with a mysterious legacy, he is forced to revise his estimation of his own nature and place in the world.
RMG is excited to learn that the film will feature at least one title from it’s catalog. More info to follow at a later date.

Ray’s career included performances alongside artists such as Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Chubby Checker, Dickey Lee, Buddy Knox, a tour with The Angels and some shows with The Everly Brothers and The Beach Boys. Ray also became notable for his bagpipe performances which gained him acclaim through many well-known Scottish and Irish performances.
The Lurch catalog includes publishing and master rights to dozens of songs spanning the 60’s and 70’s.
The song “Morse Code of Love” (performed by The Capris) has been secured by the production team behind the Australian documentary entitled “Keeping It Alive” which celebrates the life and passion of a small group of elderly Australian ex-telegraphists and morse code operators (aged in their 80’s) who are dedicated to preserving the history of morse code and educating the current generation about its impact and importance.
